Phluff[edit]

Can anybody show me why this is notable? I see one article that says few people know about it, but it's about to become well-known (that's in 1999). That article was pure PR fluff, or perhaps filler for a really slow news cycle. There has recently been an article saying that it used to be known, but few people know of it now. There's essentially nothing in the middle except deadlinks. Nothing is from a good reliable source. The city designation seems to have amounted to putting orange decals on 4 or 6 street signs. The area is one square block, which had 2 "French" cafes, both chains, one now gone, and a local bakery outlet. There is now a chain Italian restaurant that has outdoor seating. There is no other connection to France. The stuff in the background section doesn't related to this square block - it's about as far from it as you can get in Center City.

I am a little late here, but I also agree that there is a paucity of suitable or reliable sources. I strongly suspect this article is a fabrication. Regardless, I can find no independent sources at all. PHILA19106 (talk) 19:27, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
