Notability[edit]

WP rules state:

Articles that seem to have obviously non-notable subjects are eligible for speedy deletion only if the article does not give a reasonable indication of why the subject might be important or significant.

Here are some reasons why this is not the case:

  • Fraternite Notre Dame is important in that they have received prominent media coverage in 2 controversies since they moved into the Chicago area in 2001.
  • They are a religious organization involved in humanitarian work around the world.
    • Additionally Bishop Kozik had originally been a part of the Palmarian Catholic Church, leaving the church after it's founded declared himself Pope.

Tons of churches and other organizations do such things. Two controversies doesn't warrant notability - this is just another church. Thewtfchronicles (talk) 08:47, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Catholic churches engaging in schism from the Roman Catholic Church are notable in and of themselves.
