Parcel Post[edit]

He also initiated domestic Parcel Post on Jan 1, 1913 which was as revolutionary as Amazon and home shopping network in opening up new shopping opportunities for consumers. It was so successful the Post Office had huge profits leading to reduced prices and expanded service, under President Taft who made post office service a campaign issue.
