As usual I am asking a question instead of providing the answers. Sorry! This article states "The fort saw action towards the end of the First World War, when Austro-Hungarian forces approached over the Col de Larche, but were repulsed" Can some more light be shed on this? Italy and France were allies, how were the Austro-Hungarians invading from Italy? Thanks Trimike Trimike (talk) 16:44, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
