Claim about being the longest-running automotive platform in American automotive history is false, the Dodge B-series van was manufactured from 1970 as a 1971 model year until model year 2003, the same number of years as the Panther Platform, and saw much less redesign over its history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.231.175.174 (talk) 02:49, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Body designer question[edit]

Can't really find much on this, but I don't know if anyone has asked this either. Who styled the LTD/Crown Vic, Marquis/Grand Marquis, and the Continental/Town Car? --SteveCof00 (talk) 09:58, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Jaguar XJ?[edit]

Interesting to note that Jaguar XJ saloons were of similar dimension and some period overlap around Ford's ownership of the marque, but the development apparently not related. knoodelhed (talk) 19:14, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
