Final fate[edit]

I know this won't be accepted as it's from primary (USN records) and not secondary sources, but I know the person who writes these pages on Puget Sound boats is interested in their history, so perhaps they will appreciate it:

BEELINE was taken over by the Navy and placed in service as gate vessel YNg-31 at Seattle on 17 June 1942, Ensign L.K. Hutchinson, officer-in-charge. Placed out of service 05 September 1944 and laid up at Bellevue.
