More historical information, please[edit]

When did Ferry Fryston get merged into Wakefield? With all the changes in 1974, or before? Was it part of a Rural District Council? Was it an Urban District (or part of one)? Ferry Fryston is an ecclesiastical parish, but it does not appear to be a civil parish. What civil parish does it belong to? When did this happen, or when did the smaller settlement within Ferry Fryston ecclesiastical parish become the dominant settlement?

Please, we need more information from the time of the GENUKI offering (1822) and 1974, other than the fact that most men were "down the pit". --Oldontarian (talk) 10:56, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
