It was decided here that the category for upcoming models be merged with Category:Cars introduced in 2022, specifically since other categories like this exist. Waddles🗩🖉 18:11, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That is irrelevant, WP:CATVER requires the categorisation of articles to be verifiable, and we cannot verify that the Ferrari Purosangue was introduced in 2022 because it isn't 2022 yet. -- DeFacto (talk). 18:24, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DeFacto: It's confirmed information, the sources in the article say that the Purosangue will be released in 2022. If it changes to a further-back year, or Ferrari rushes the launch date to this or the next two months somehow, it can be added to different category. Adding related articles with confirmed dates to consistent categories makes categorizing vehicle articles and looking for them easier. Besides, I don't think it's worth starting all these discussions regarding the category of an article, especially when it will be all fine in two months. If the Ferrari Purosangue was only rumored for a 2022 introduction and nothing was officially confirmed, or the situation was that the article was being added to a category for a further year like 2023 or 2024, then it would make more sense because that leaves years for anything to happen.
