Casting for the film, though I couldn't care less about it... maybe someone else would. —Erik (talkcontribreview) - 03:50, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reception?[edit]

I'm sure it was not very good, but is there any info about the reception of the film? Or what its earning were? The movie came out a few weeks ago and it should be added —Preceding unsigned comment added by Renegade51 (talkcontribs) 07:59, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. The page used to say August something but now I see it hasnt come out yet —Preceding unsigned comment added by Renegade51 (talkcontribs) 07:54, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The film is now out, according to the article, but there's still no mention of it's reception. The only place I can see anything about it is user comments on IMDB, one saying that, 'Uwe Boll has done a fairly good job' (personally, I'll believe that when I see it for myself, but not before), one saying, basically, it's OK if you're looking for a brainless over-the-top action feast, and one saying it's terrible, due to things like 'cheap tricks', a 'plastic helicopter' and bad acting. If Uwe Boll is affiliated with a movie in anyway, it will suck ass. LOL. Look what Kojima Production's reaction to him when he said he got the rights to the Metal Gear movie. "It's impossible we will ever do a movie with him. He will not be involved in any way."

2008/2009[edit]

Has the movie been released or not? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uwe_Boll Here it says 2008. On this page it says June 19 2009. What is the correct date? —Preceding unsigned comment added by OVRKLL (talkcontribs) 15:48, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

The External links were a mess but there might still be some useful information in there, so just in case anyone has the time to watch the videos and read the intereviews and reused them instead as sources I'm including them here. -- Horkana (talk) 03:03, 2 October 2009 (UTC) External links[reply]

The movieset.com links are dead and I don't think anything can be sourced from youtube in general and specifically in this case because it's not clear who is producing the video, just some random interviews. The material would need to be sourced from elsewhere. Doctorfluffy (robe and wizard hat) 06:01, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, do you know if this movie was actually released? Is there any updated information available anywhere? Doctorfluffy (robe and wizard hat) 06:03, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've a feeling Youtube videos can be used in some situations but when citing video you would need to provide timecodes as well and be very specific. I'm working off IMDB mostly, far as I can tell the film was released in Germany but has not yet received a US release. -- Horkana (talk) 15:40, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Correct. See WP:YOUTUBE. Keep in mind that Youtube videos are almost never acceptable for use as references- this policy applies only to the External Links section. --King Öomie 15:49, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
