Removing ′More Footnotes′ template[edit]

The More Footnotes message has been in place since April 2014. Over the past few days I have systematically converted most of the list of URLs into specific references (inline citations), working on a line by line basis through the article. I have also added a number of new references to help substantiate several of the claims. Some of the original list of URLs have been converted into External Links and moved to that section. There are still a number of unconnected URLs which need to be dealt with (those which still have working URLs or web archive links will be converted into additional external links). The article is now largely sourced, with 23 references (often with quotations) and most paragraphs of the main body of text have at least one source. There are still a number of lines in the first 2 paragraphs which could do with a couple additional sources. I believe it is now time to remove the More Footnotes template as the problem (the absence of inline citations) has been addressed. SpookiePuppy (talk) 13:30, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
