Thirty-one of the Newcastle United player profiles are metric first and 4 are imperial first. This is one of them.

All Newcastle United profiles are metric first. See [1]
Premier League player profiles are all metric only.
Most (31/35) player profiles are metric first now.
Fabricio Coloccini is from Argentina, not the UK.
The present citation is to a book. That can't be checked as readily as a hotlink to Premier League or Newcastle United.

Hypothetical situation: Coloccini is transferred/loaned to Bayern Munich, his height would be listed in metric first. Why change it back if he goes back to a UK team? Coloccini is not British, he's Argentinian, so his personal article is not germaine to the UK.
