– Obvious primary topic for this term, as opposed to various popular culture topics and partial title /non title matches. In the case that genocide or homicide would be extermination, it would fall under the scope of this article, thus, it can be considered a broad concept article. • I disagree that it's the obvious primary topic, and I'd like to see evidence that it predominates over, in particular, the extermination of vermin. That there wasn't even an article on it till you created it just now suggests that it may not be the primary topic for the term. Largoplazo (talk) 22:26, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, if anything Pest control is the primary topic. 162 etc. (talk) 00:21, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Leaning oppose per User:162 etc.; extermination is commonly used as a term with respect to insects and vermin. BD2412 T 00:55, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose per reasons listed by User:162 etc. — (1) I'd disagree that it's the "OBVIOUS" primary topic, and (2) I'd argue that there's no super-super clear primary topic between this meaning of the word & the pest control usage of the word. So, the safest bet would be to keep the disambiguation page at the basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 02:45, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
