Notable academics section[edit]

note:copied from here--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:16, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Your edit summary here is incorrect. Academics must meet at least one of the criteria listed here to be considered notable with regard to Wikipedia entries.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:54, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The academics mentioned in the articles all meet the criteria, especially the, supposedly contested, candidate, who holds a professorship at Yerevan State University (as visible on the website of that institution), which perfectly complies with the criterium 6 "The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution or major academic society." The other candidates, too, have a fine academic profile as evidenced by the h-index as visible on Google Scholar. Thus, no edit war visible. {unsigned|80.12.42.116}}
Your message makes no sense whatsoever, and your premise is invalid. Having "a fine academic profile" is not one of the criteria for inclusion. Either get consensus on the article talk page to include the names, or continue edit warring and find yourself blocked. Your choice.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:09, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Criteria number 6 is being misapplied repeatedly, being a faulty member is not the "highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution". --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:40, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
