Sourcing[edit]

Here's what I don't understand. I have linked to an official U.S. Forest Service's webpage featuring her. How is the U.S. Forest Service not a reliable source? This is an official website of a respected agency of the federal government of the United States of America. Larry Grossman (talk) 02:06, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Larry Grossman, what you didn't understand is that Eternal Shadow said "the sources need improvement to prove notability"; they didn't say "unreliable". Please read WP:GNG, the part where it talks about reliable secondary sources. In fact, your draft doesn't have a single secondary source, and until it gets a few, this draft won't be accepted. • Thank you, I think I see the point now finally! I've been focusing on primary rather than secondary sources it sounds like? Larry Grossman (talk) 02:16, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
      • Yes. Look for books that mention your subject, newspaper articles, book reviews, that sort of thing. Good luck. Drmies (talk) 02:19, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
