Adrian Belew is one of the world's most prolific guitarists. He was discovered by Frank Zappa while playing in a cover band, and he was added to Zappa's band. David Bowie became aware of Belew's work at this point, and following the Zappa tour Belew went on tour with Bowie. From that tour he met the Talking Heads, and shortly thereafter began working with them. From his work with the heads, Belew met King Crimson founding member Robert Fripp, and Belew became the new guitarist for Crimson along with Tony Levin on bass.

It is significant to anyone who appreciates music when a twenty year old prodigy becomes the drummer for someone as influential as Adrian Belew. Within the next five years, Eric Slick will be recognized as one of the world's best rock drummers.

Well, that certainly sounds like he might be notable. Now all you need to do is add the sources that verify what you're saying. One or two newspaper or magazine articles would be really helpful. -FisherQueen (Talk) 14:47, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to point out that notability is not inherited. Surely someone on the cusp of such fame should have some non-blog reviews of his grandiose abilities. Hoof Hearted 14:27, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
