Was the modern town of Eretria established in 1824 (English Wikipedia) or 1821 (German WIkipedia)? Mdebets (talk) 10:41, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok so i have no idea how to add 'citation needed' but the claim that eretria was founded as the port of Lefkandi needs one, as Lefkandi is a modern town, the name of the ancient town in a similar site is not known, and the archaeological excavation of said town is incomplete, and the literary eveidence is missing.

Basically, if this is true i'd love to read who proved it!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.215.149.96 (talk) 23:19, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
