Fair use rationale for Image:Coat arms Tunisia.gif[edit]

Image:Coat arms Tunisia.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Ennahdha[edit]

Ennahdha Party is rather more than a "rather common misspelling". It is the name the party uses for itself in English[1] and its URL uses nahdha, though the BBC uses Ennahda[2] --Rumping (talk) 21:56, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Renaissance Party → Renaissance Movement – In Arabic, it is Harakat an-Nahda, not Hizb an-Nahda (see Ettajdid Movement). Therefore, Renaissance Movement seems like a more appropriate name. — ABJIKLAM (t · c) 23:30, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well Ennahda is already used so it would have to be Ennahda Movement. Now another question comes to mind: do we use Ennahda or Ennahdha? The letter ض is usually transliterated as d, but is pronounced dh among Tunisians. I don't know which is more common in the media. — ABJIKLAM (t · c) 22:17, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I add my voice to the others, Ennahda Movement is more common and therefore more appropriate. Regarding the "dh vs d" question, I think that the standard adopted for this varies some use "dh" to express "ض" others use is to express "ذ" or "ظ" and then those who confuse the three. I think we should keep it "d" since getting into the transliteration details with their regional variations just adds confusion as there are no clear-cut standards. Dead link[edit]

Citation 24: "^ a b "TUNISIA: POLITICAL PARTIES, UNKNOWN TO 61% OF TUNISIANS - ANSAmed". ANSAMED.info. No longer Islamist[edit]

According to this, this, this and this, Ennahda no longer defines itself as an Islamist party, but rather a "conservative" or even a "Muslim democrat" party, in a similar fashion to the Turkish AK Party, I assume.

I think this should replace the "Islamist" label in the article; in other words, a major revision of the whole article is needed. Though, of course we should include that the party was Islamist until 2016.

Ennahdha Movement → Ennahda Movement – Unfortunately, the page was moved without discussion, at the supposedly uncontroversial technical request of User:HapHaxion. The reason was that this were the "official spelling used by the party". However, the Wikipedia policy for article titles does not necessarily prefer official names. Instead, the policy is to use the most common name of the subject used in independent, reliable English-language sources. Both in news media and in academic publications, the prevalent spelling is "Ennahda", without 'h' after the 'd'. See e.g. Google News, Books, Scholar. Therefore, the move should be undone. The article itself also uses the "Ennahdha" spelling throughout. Either way, the name used in the title (whatever it may be) should be harmonized with what is in the article.
