"ESEP HSs has a higher standard on mathematics education but also competitive in terms of science" --this is not true, ESEP High Schools do not tackle subjects on linear algebra and advanced mathematics which includes numericals and elementary analysis. Only RSHS and PSHS who offer this subjects. it is also part of P/RSHS curriculum as an elective course is number theory.

--ESEP Mathematics curriculum is only limited on statistics, elementary algebra, geometry (solid and analytic), trigonometry and calculus which both RSHS and PSHS also offer in their curriculum.

While I'm not at all suggesting that my high school is competitive with any of these three curiccular offerings, I might add that there's another kind of Science Curriculum for public high schools in the Philippines - those offered by SUCs as either Education program laboratory schools or as extension programs. I for one graduated under a special science curriculum offered by the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University College of Edcation Laboratory High School.
That's DMMMSU-SLUC-CE-LHS Special Science Curriculum. Amusingly long. Why am I not making that an internal link? Well, I'll come back to this post once the link is no longer red. hehe. I'm afraid while I'm proud to have come from there, I'm not fond enough of my old high school memories to write an article -- the school was okay, but my adolescence was awkward. haha. But then again, whose isn't. Oh. Sorry, am I rambling?
There are other schools out there whose classifications I'm not sure about. I'm not sure where UP Rural High School falls, for example. Ayun po. Just raised some thoughts. -- Alternativity 09:56, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
