Notability[edit]

@AusLondonder: Hi! I found some secondary sources about the district having issues with nepotism and with its superintendent (on one occasion the school board voted to fire her, but the board later changed its mind). I can find more sources if you believe it needs more. Also as per Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Common_outcomes#School_districts, ""Populated, legally-recognized places" include school districts, which conveys near-inherent notability to school districts per Wikipedia:Notability (geography)." Hi there WhisperToMe and thanks for addressing my concern. If you have located reliable secondary sources please feel free to add them and remove the proposed deletion tag. WP:GEOLAND doesn't mention school districts currently regarding inherent notability. AusLondonder (talk) 15:44, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@AusLondonder: You're welcome! I added the secondary sources, so I removed the PROD. I believe the Common Outcomes justification is based upon the phrase "Populated, legally recognized places are typically presumed to be notable, even if their population is very low." School districts in the United States, in most states, have legally recognized boundaries, are governed by elected boards, and tax people living within their boundaries.
