I'm not sure what the best form of disambiguation is here, and I don't object to it being changed, but "British colonial official" is not going to cut it to disambiguate against Gen. Sir Edward Nicolls, who served as superintendant of Fernando Po among other offices. —innotata 01:54, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
How about Edward Nicolls (engineer) and/or Edward Nicolls (Royal Marines officer)? Undoubtedly the 1779-1865 Edward is more notable, but disambiguation of both pages could be helpful?
