Teenagers?[edit]

Hollywood continued its unfortunate trend with this "high school" movie, in which the average age of the "teens" in the movie is 23 years old (not counting the dude who was supposed to be 20 years and 8 months old, and who was actually 28). The movie was well-written, well-produced, and featured awesome camera work, but it is hard to watch a high-school movie that features adults in all the roles. Sign me disappointed. Well, thanks to U.S.laws the film industry does not work like a sweat shop. Therefore teenagers are exempt from full working hours and substituted with actors who are at least 18 years of age. Plot synopsis[edit]

The Plot mentions the lawnmower scene (à la Can't Buy Me Love) without the accompanying subpoint concerning 80s movies. It seems to pop out of no where in the Plot section. Would adding a few lines concerning this be inappropriate per WP:PLOT? Also of note is the absence of any mention of the frame story, namely that we are watching that webcast that would later be mentioned, complete with Olive narrating. Micah's age[edit]

People seem insistent on editing to the article so that Micah (Amanda Bynes's boyfriend who sleeps with Lisa Kudrow) is 22 years old. Like this edit has been made a half a dozen times over the past couple years. I don't get this. His age is directly stated by Lisa Kudrow in the movie; she says "It's legal, I checked. He'll be 21 in 8 months.", meaning he's 20 years, 4 months old. It's not even slightly ambiguous. 24.207.30.228 (talk) 07:36, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is probably because earlier in the film, Olive jokes with words to the effect of "what is he, 22?". But yes, he is 20. Perhaps mentioning that he is 20, but adding something like "which Olive exagerates, saying..." or something like that will stop people changing it back. --ChrisMalme (talk) 23:48, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
