Local information[edit]

The pizza parlor to the south of the mall was "P.J. Pizzazz" and featured a remote-controlled robot that was normally kept in a large Plexiglas cylinder that was hoisted up when "he" was out visiting guests. A Chili's was built next door, the pizzeria closed, and later reopened as a BJ's.

The May Co. building became Target. The Club Disney/Circuit City building was a new building built to the east of the May Co (in its parking lot); it did not occupy the old May Co space.

Note: Mervyn's, Chick's (now Dick's), and Levitz have all closed but are still mentioned in the article.
