Summer temperatures[edit]

According to the text inland temperatures are below freezing the yyear around. These areas would then be permanently ice-covered. They are not. Insead, it is the coast which is chilly in summer, and the inland heats up to temperatures allowing for the development of forests (taiga) in many areas. However, I don't hhave the numbers needed to make a correction. Roufu (talk) 08:51, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
