Clarification + note on article quality[edit]

Is East Providence supposed to be part of the East Bay? Geographically it is on the eastern side of the bay, for the same reason Barrington is. But I think in practice this term mainly refers to Bristol and Newport Counties. The East Bay Bike Path does go through East Providence, however.

Anyway, this article reads like a travel magazine or something. It should be overhauled. 98.170.164.88 (talk) 23:14, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The main local newspaper for the "East Bay" includes East Providence in its covered communities, so it seems fair to say that it should be included. This is particularly true for the Riverside portion, though less so for the Rumford area that is further north and was historically part of Seekonk. Unkrust2ble (talk) 08:29, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
