Since Wikipedian practice deprecates colons, dashes and slashes in main space titles, the better title would be Drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. --Wetman (talk) 18:39, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

P. C. Chang of Republic of China (Taiwan),[a][edit]

"(Taiwan)" and the footnote should be omitted.

Republic of China was not "Taiwan" during the drafting of the UDHR and hence the phrase " (Taiwan),[a] (footnote)" suffers from "presentist" point of view (i.e., from the perspective of our present-day understanding of events)

Just as we do not write "(Russia and other states)" following any mention of the Soviet Union, the addition behind the name of PC Chang should be omitted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.242.91.35 (talk) 20:42, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
