This film has the rare pleasure of hearing Sid James and Liz Fraser singing the title theme of the film - 'Double Bunk' which was written by Stanley Black, Jack Fishman & Mike Pratt. It was also produced on record by Decca.

Hardly the best film ever, but enjoyable. I would like to visit some of the Thames-side locations shown in the film. I presume that "Christmas Island" was just the name given to Newman's Boat Yard for the film, and that other filming was largely done in that area. Box office?

The film went over budget by £4,500.
