This article is about two different people[edit]

This article contains information about two different people who apparently have the same name. The journalist Donie O'Sullivan who works for CNN is not the same Donie O'Sullivan who played Gaelic Football in the 1960s and 70s. I suggest this information should be separated out into two pages.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.41.51 (talkcontribs) 11:44, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the split tags to highlight this. Honestly, the journalist section could probably be nominated for Deletion. Squatch347 (talk) 22:15, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have restored the earlier version. Which covered the original topic/subject. The sportsperson. If there is a need for an additional/separate article on the journalist, then the editors interested in creating that can do so via the typical process or WP:AFC channels. When/if we have two articles, and there is a need for a MOVE/DAB/PRIMARYTOPIC discussion, then the editors interested in addressing that can do via the typical WP:RM channels. Otherwise it makes very little sense to tie ourselves in knots by creating an article which attempts to cover two people. And then splitting it. Guliolopez (talk) 10:31, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
