Lack of accuracy[edit]

In article is written: Dimitrije P. Tirol (Serbian: Димитрије П. Тирол; Csák, Habsburg monarchy, 30 May 1793 – Timișoara, Habsburg Monarchy, 30 March 1857) is a Serbian writer, linguist, geographer, and painter who lived and worked in Austro-Hungary and Serbia.

If we want to write this introduction or the brief content of the article more precisely (as is appropriate for an encyclopedia), it should be written like this:

Dimitrije P. Tirol (Serbian: Димитрије П. Тирол; *30 May 1793 Tschakowa, Habsburg monarchy (now: Ciacova, Romania), †30 March 1857 Temeschwar, Habsburg Monarchy (now: Timișoara, Romania) is an Austrian and Serbian writer, linguist, geographer, and painter who lived and worked in the Austrian Empire and in the Principality of Serbia.

Austria-Hungary was created in 1867, but Serbia was only recognized as a kingdom in 1882; previously it had its own autonomy within the Ottoman Empire as Principality under protectorate of Austria. --Stebunik (talk) 21:43, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bristen?[edit]

The article says that he studied in Bristen. Why should he go to the small mountain village of Bristen in Switzerland, if he continued his education in his native Timisoara and in not too distant Kecskemét? Bristen is probably written wrong.--Stebunik (talk) 22:29, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bristen – or Brist?[edit]

Brist is a village in southern Dalmatia, Croatia, population 400 (census 2011).[1] Located on the Adriatic coast between Makarska and Ploče, with a tradition of fishing, and wine and olive growing, the village is oriented towards tourism in recent decades.[2]

In Hungarian it means Bristen = in Brist.--Stebunik (talk) 22:46, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dimitrije az iskoláját Csákon, Bristen, Temesváron és Kecskeméten végezte el. – in English: Dimitrije completed his schooling in Csák, Brist, Temesvár and Kecskemét.
