I'm quite certain that he's deceased. Of course, Google is doing its usual bang-up job of returning relevant information. And once again, there are better sources than Political Graveyard (hint: his entry says "Still living as of 1960") but it's going to take a little while to dig them up.
Disregard somewhat (the comment about over-relying on Political Graveyard still stands), as the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner carried a notice of his 50th wedding anniversary in June 2012.
