I'm just going to take a shot in he dark that he means Greg, who is probably holding the egg because the book is about growt, change, and puberty. Plot[edit]

Not exactly, but, I was at Toys "R" Us today, and I saw that they accidently put it up on shelves, I started flipping pages and, the end showed: "I guess it would be great to keep Rowley around" and it showed Greg holding a giant Rowley on a leash, standing in front of some bullies, and Rowley says, "ROWLEY ANGRY!".
