Great job with the article! I like that you added information on materials and tools that was not included in the Registrar article that already exists in Wikipedia. Your prose was well-written, and the information you provided was relevant and appeared to be well-researched (nice job with the references). I also liked that you used links to a variety of other articles to establish connections and context and provide further information on related topics. You did not include a lead section, which would have also been helpful in establishing context and providing a general summary of the registrar's role, but I assume you only did that because you were focusing on providing new sections and information that could be integrated into the other Registrar article. Another thing you could do is link to the Collection Managers page because those duties--handling, marking, and storage--would fall under their job description in some museums, and depending on the institution the roles do overlap quite a bit. Hi Caroline, I really enjoyed your article on Registrars. Your layout was very clear and easy to understand. Your writing style was pithy and concise. The tools and materials you wrote about would be a very good addition to the current article. I liked how you linked more jargon and industry terms to outside sources (although after looking at the accession number page, it looks like that could use an update too!). One role you may want to discuss, as it is breezed over in the present registrar article, is the role in Integrated Pest Management in which registrars/collections managers are usually involved. Hi Caroline! I think this is great what you’re doing. The original Mosul Museum page definitely needs to be expanded. I would be interested in reading more about its history, how it came to be and all about the collections they had. Do they have any sort of website or social media presence? It might be hard to connect if everything is in Arabic? I think one of the most important things to think about while typing up this article is to make it understandable for the general public. People who don’t know what specific artifacts are; but I see you have a sub-category of significance below some of the items. I would also be curious as to what destruction of the Mosul Museum has prompted. Also, is there anything left from or of the museum and is there a group of museum employees/volunteers that are trying to carry on and look towards the future? Hello, Caroline, What an important project. I am glad you have chosen to cover it. The biggest challenge I foresee with your project is being able to keep opinion or feelings out in keeping with the tone of an encyclopedic entry, at least it would be for me if I was writing it. First suggestion I might make is under the Collection header to use the adjective "relevance" as opposed to "importance", since there is a demographic of people who do not see it as important to the region. Second suggestion I have is to possibly reexamine the format within the Destruction header. It is unclear to me why Assyrian is a header (and if content will be added there) and I am not understanding why the significant object headers are different sizes, i.e. Hatrene Statues is larger than the previous two. I'm guessing this will all be clearer as the content is added, but I thought I ought to note it since I am struggling to understand the layout. Regarding your references, they look great.
