Citations[edit]

I'm working to standardize the citations in Wikipedia formatting. The first one listed appears to be for an advertisement in the journal Evolution. The ad doesn't support any of the attributed information. Does someone know the intended source?

(1) Bezy, R. L. (1965). Xantusia vigilis Baird Desert Night Lizard. Evolution, 19(2), 268–268. https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1558-5646.1965.tb01719.x

Quote(?) with an awkward list of examples/attributions[edit]

This statement appeared as

"Reproduction by only a portion of the adult females in a given year is a phenomenon that appears to be widespread among night lizards (e.g., Island Night Lizard, X. riversiana, Goldberg and Bezy 1974; Pajapan Night Lizard, Lepidophyma pajapanense, Méndez-de la Cruz et al. 1999; Granite Night Lizard, X. henshawi, Goldberg 2013)

I don't know if this is truly a quote and, if so, from which source. I'm going to paraphrase the statement and ask for a citation in the article. I'll leave this list of possible sources here in case someone can interpret them. - Popoki35 (talk) 15:10, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
