Good day,

I propose the merger of both the articles Dennis RS series and Dennis SS series to be merged into this article - as a result, I'd expect this article to be renamed to something such as Dennis RS/SS series.

Today I picked up the print edition of Andy Goundry's Dennis Buses and Other Vehicles, and reading through the section on the RS and SS to help with citing information, both the author and, most importantly, Hestair Dennis in their 1980 specification sheets, consider the RS and SS to be one appliance, with the only real distinction between the two being that the SS has a tilting cab.

As such, I feel a separate page on the SS is unnecessary, at it repeats the same information besides the specification of a tilting cab, hence the merger suggestion. The DS and DF series, though limited in citeable information online, have enough differences with the base models to warrant their own stub pages, in my opinion.

Please, feel free to discuss. Hullian111 (talk) 13:43, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • agree with the proposal, also Goundry’s book sounds like it should be on my Xmas list! Murgatroyd49 (talk) 14:24, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - If there's only a single feature difference between the two, it would be better to have a single article instead of two short ones. --Sable232 (talk) 21:47, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
