Notable Alumni

  • Incorrect credit for Shepley, named deleted from notable list.
  • Richard Norton, Broadway producer restored to list with footnote source.
  • Vinton Freedley is one of the most important theater producers in the history of Broadway, having presented the greatest number of major original works by George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers and Vernon Duke of any producer. His name should not be deleted from this list. I have written a Wikipedia entry for him - there was a bio already in the German version of Wikipedia but not in the English version for some reason.
  • Edward Streeter is the author of Father of the Bride and a follow up book Father's Little Dividend. These books were the source for the famous 1950 Vincent Minelli movie starring Spencer Tracy, two movies starring Steve Martin and TV series. This certainly makes him a notable figure. His name should not be deleted from this list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HansDieterUlrich (talkcontribs) 07:45, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
Streeter now has a Wikipedia article (I added the link above). Now we need a source saying he was a member. I cannot find that Norton would meet Wikipedia's standards for notablity. Rublamb (talk) 17:15, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

Why are so many minor league hockey athletes listed? 127W111 (talk) 03:29, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
