A fact from Death of Kevin Hjalmarsson appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 22 May 2018 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that 20 years after confessing to the murder of a four-year-old boy, two brothers had all suspicions against them dismissed?
I'm a bit uncertain about the categories for this article. Those that are in place now are all connected to murder, but the brothers were legally just suspects and it now seems as if it could have been an accident. More neutral categories like Category:1998 deaths or some legal cats like Category:Criminal trials that ended in acquittal or Category:Criminal investigation might be more appropriate. The Swedish original article is not in any murder-related categories, please take a look at that. cart-Talk 08:17, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you.--BabbaQ (talk) 08:40, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
should possibly be in Category:False confessions? i was going to add it, but reviewing the article made it seem unclear whether there actually were any confessions (but still close enough, perhaps?). there's also Category:Minors convicted of murder, but i guess they were never convicted, either. k kisses 18:37, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm confused. Did the people reporting the first two 5/ 7 YOs after they apparently confessed really think anyone would fall for that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by APenInSpace (talk • contribs) 02:09, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
