@SwisterTwister - I will address points and resubmit with additional reference material, thanks for your time in reviewing Ealaion-west (talk) 00:27, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Ealaion-west: Hi and thanks for the info. This is going to sound bizarre, but CC-BY-SA 4.0 is not currently a compatible license for us. 3.0 is as high as we can allow right now. See WP:COMPLIC. Something about the backwards compatibility requirements in 4.0, or somthing to that effect. Legal is Looking At ItTM but as of now we can't use 4.0 text content. Images are ok oddly enough. • Just as an FYI, User:Crow and User:Ealaion-west, it has to do with how the material can be used elsewhere. Content licensed under 4.0 can only be reused under license 4.0 or later (see [1]), but our Terms of Use permit content to be reused under 3.0. With images, it's not a problem, because each image has its own license. You can use a 4.0 image under 4.0 and a 3.0 image under 3.0. But with text, if you mingle 4.0 with 3.0 text, the resultant material cannot be released under 3.0. Hence, the incompatibility. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:52, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
