numbering of references[edit]

A problem with numbering references by hand is that if someone wants to add a new one, then all the ones after it have to get renumbered one-by-one. That's why letting the software do the formatting is better. Michael Hardy (talk) 23:35, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
