Notability[edit]

A previous article on this person was deleted in 2008, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Clarke (lecturer).

I created a redirect from this page to his book.

An anon editor 194.61.223.53 (talk · contribs) expanded this to a stub biography in 2016. I have added further citations and concur that Clarke is now sufficiently notable for the article to be kept. – Fayenatic London 13:53, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a good angle for a portrait. To upload an image to Wikipedia or Commons, you'd also have to have the rights to it; see Wikipedia:Image use policy. – Fayenatic London 21:36, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute (alleged) with Nick Pope[edit]

I removed the sentence about his supposed dispute with Nick Pope as it is not relevant to the entry and could be interpreted as a personal attack. There is no similar mention on Pope's page. Skeptic2 (talk) 07:11, 27 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

For the record, I think I originally included it[1] because it was cited and confirmed notability, at a point when the justification for the article was borderline. – Fayenatic London 16:44, 27 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
