Wine auction[edit]

Not worthy of comment in the main article, but perhaps of interest to a passing researcher, might be an auction, by Messrs Christie, Manson & Woods, on 4 April 1906, “The Property of R. T. Crawshay, Esq., late of Cyfarthfa, South Wales”, which included “Port. (All of which had been lying in the Cellar at Cyfarthfa Castle for at least 20 years before being removed to London in 1889).” (My picture #21036.) JDAWiseman (talk) 22:32, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
