Location[edit]
This talks about Cumberland Market being near to St Pancras railway station. If you follow the canal arm, you'll find that (at least its last location, it may have moved) it was on the west-side of Euston railway station. The Crown Estate[edit]
Hello. I work at The Crown Estate, and I was looking at the Wikipedia page about Cumberland Market today.
In the section on "Decline", it says " ... and in 1952, the Crown Commissioners sold the 32 acres ... " . I should point out that The Crown Commissioners administer the Legal system in Scotland, and are quite different to The Crown Estate Commissioners". This section also gives the impression that The Crown Estate sold ALL of it's interests in Cumberland Market at this time, which is not true. It still owns a large amount of properties there (for example, all the buildings surrounding the allotment gardens, which used to be the canal basin.
I am really new at this, and wondered if someone could edit it.

I've made the change from Crown Commissioners to Crown Estate Commissioners. Can you suggest an alternative wording to remove the implication that all land was sold?
