Deleted "Politics" section[edit]

This section contained downright erroneous and inaccurate information; no matter how much one may hate Mayor Dan Klein, this section was full of lies about him, was unencyclopedic, and was irrelevant to the article as a whole. (I live in Crown Point, so I believe I may say the above with much confidence in accuracy.) —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 19:30, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracies tag[edit]

What's being disputed? There should be a link to the John Dillinger page and his escape from the Crown Point jail. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.106.158.80 (talk) 16:11, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What source says that Crown Point is considering building another High School on the east side? I think we need facts here or that should be deleted, because it sounds like it's someone's opinion. TolkienLOTR (talk) 02:43, 25 February 2008 (UTC)TolkienLOTRh[reply]

In the last few years, Crown Point demolished the old high school which was near the southwest corner of the Square (the heart of the town where the old Courthouse and shops are located). They built a new junior high at that location. Their larger new high school is located at the far southeast corner of Crown Point. I live nearby and have seen both buildings.Lindisfarnelibrary (talk) 11:07, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Plans?[edit]

It discusses plans to build a new high school....that high school was finished years ago. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.239.157.57 (talk) 06:04, 29 March 2008 (UTC) I'm not sure about "CPCSC has future plans in which more elementary schools will be built as well as a new middle/high school to be built in Winfield." As far as I know they do not have plans to build a new middle school. They just built one a year or so ago, and you can find no mention of these plans on the CPCSC Website. www.cps.k12.in.us ----[reply]

Newly created stub article about police department without any particular indication of notability and not much information. Merge instead of delete. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:34, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't even need discussion, just redirect it. Primefac (talk) 21:21, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please. Yes. I admire enthusiasm for editing but this is all starting to seem like an enormous time-sink... Shearonink (talk) 02:55, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
