"Folsom Prison Blues" is a rock and roll classic?[edit]
In the infobox of Folsom Prison Blues, the song is categorized in the genres folk blues, country and rockabilly. In my own opinion (yes, I know, this is probably considered original research), neither the live version on At Folsom Prison nor the original 1955 studio version qualifies as rock and roll (not even circa 1955 rock and roll, in the case of the latter). Even if many high-profile rock musicians cherish the song, that doesn't make it a rock and roll song. EDITED TO ADD: The source cited at the end of the sentence which includes "rock and roll classic" doesn't call the song that. Wank Hilliams (talk) 10:50, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
