Anyone know?

Does anyone know of the new coins of 25, 50 and 100 francs to be introduced? Enlil Ninlil 03:06, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

No mention of value

The currency of this fair land was known in the past for being subject to freefall inflation; I am pleased to note that those days are [touch wood] gone. What is the cause of the stability of the currency at present? Is it pegged to the US dollar, or the Euro? Certainly the US dollar features a lot in the finances of the Congo at the moment. Zimbabwe got rid of their own currency a few years ago - and only has the US dollar. The Congo uses the US dollar for all transactions except the mundane everyday ones - like shopping for groceries. Bank account of individuals are kept as US dollars. So ... this article is fine - if you're a banknote collector, but what about the value of the currency? Could someone shed some light? This article is fine if you're a banknote collector? Hardly, since all from 1963-1997 are missing. Not much better for coin collector either, 1965-1997 absent... Somehow I understand that it was different currency then, but where is their article in that case? 91.152.32.181 (talk) 16:13, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
