Sole Survivor missing[edit]

The C&C1 spin-off Sole Survivor is missing on this compilation. Shouldn't this be mentioned? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.3.245.10 (talk) 23:05, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Main Page[edit]

Could someone get this on C&C series I tried but I just get a red link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamhaw (talkcontribs)

What page? --69.204.179.124 17:50, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • THe main Command and Conquer page but someones already done it.

Broken Link[edit]

The Map Editor for Command & Conquer: Red Alert not recognizing "The First Decade" disc as the appropriate one can be bypassed by adding -cd. to the command line. The bug in Command & Conquer concerning the crashes when units are placed on the top left corner of the screen can be worked around through a simple process hosted here.

The hosted link where Here is has stopped working. Maybe someone could discover what WAS there and post it in Wiki - Don't forget Forums Break, posts get locked and deleted.

Question about bugs in First Decade[edit]

Have they released a patch to fix any of the various glitches and problems? Did they fix the music and cutscenes?

That's not a stealth tank...[edit]

The one poster isn't a stealth tank. It's the medium tank of the GDI. I think it is called Predator as far as I remember.

That's definantly the GDI Predator tank, as evident from the demo. The upgrade for it is a rail gun, not a missle launcher.

Also[edit]

I don't know if this should be included, but the C&C modding community basically hates EA thanks to this product. And also it only sometimes works too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.235.152.211 (talk) 01:44, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed[edit]

Removed comment about Replacementdocs not working, tested just then and loaded fine, also, should have been on discussion page rather than front page Resonanttoe (talk) 01:37, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The official "The First Decade" forums link broken[edit]

Does anyone have a replacement link for the official The First Decade forum? that link to longer works -- it shows up with an error page on EA's website reading: "Error: you do not have permission to view the requested forum or category." I logged in just to be sure, but the error page still comes up. Cody-7 (talk) 23:50, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Added Info about the Unoffical 1.03 patch[edit]

The unofficial 1.03 patch is prominently advertised on the EA-run CommandAndConquer.com and Apoc (who seems to be an EA employee based on his comments about the C&C 3 development team) supports it. Although he doesn't speak for the company, the patch seems to be notable enough and I figured it really ought to be mentioned. So I updated the patches section and a few other areas to reflect that. I removed the bugs section because all of the remaining issues (except for the Lands of Lore II and Bladerunner preview videos in RA, I think) were fixed in the recent patch and it just seemed pointless to keep the section when every line ended "This has been fixed in..." So I took a few sentences from it and incorporated them into the patch section. And for the record, I for one am glad that all these issues are finally fixed, even if EA never was motivated enough to fix it themselves. At least they advertise it when somebody else actually does make the fixes. -Thunderforge (talk) 04:56, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Number of pages of the manual[edit]

It is mentioned in two separate places in the article that it is a 65-page and a 70-page manual. Which is true? See this and this.

Broken citation[edit]

I just noticed that citation number 2 (http://www.ea.com/official/cc/firstdecade/us/news.jsp?src=Patch102) is broken. It basically redirects to EA's main news page (at the moment, it redirects to this: http://www.ea.com/games/command-and-conquer-4). If someone could fix this, it would be great. -XJDHDR (talk) 22:27, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
