Notes for further improvement[edit]

I've added a section to this article which lists all of the known performers who have appeared on this series, per the existence of IMDb episode pages. Obviously a more comprehensive episode list, complete with seasons and airdates, would be even better, but I don't fully trust the accuracy of IMDb's information; in the process of compiling the list, I found that numerous episodes were attached to a specific season, while actually listing an airdate that put it two or three years out of phase with the rest of that season (e.g. an episode airing in 2010 as part of a season that was otherwise entirely aired in 2012 or 2013, or vice versa); several "unknown season" strays, of which at least some were duplicates of episodes that had already been listed in a specific season; several episodes which just listed a generic year airdate (or no airdate at all) instead of any specific MDY date; and several other reasons why that's not going to provide a good base for compiling a full episode list. And, in fact, given all those problems I'm not even fully convinced that they've even fully listed every single performer who ever did an episode of Comedy Now without missing any — so it's still possible that a few names may even remain missing.

If anybody can actually find more solid sources to support a full episode list, go for it — but the IMDb entries aren't going to be viable for that purpose. Bearcat (talk) 18:33, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
