request for name change[edit]

Requested move 16 April 2019[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: No consensus. Stale discussion, no prejudice against speedy renomination but I would advise the nominator to base their arguments at any subsequent discussions on the applicable naming policy. Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves → ? – Clean Cooking Alliance. We have recently undergone a branding change and have changed our name from the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves to the Clean Cooking Alliance. You can find proof of this by visiting our website which is listed above in the body where you can see this name change is legitimate. Jborbee23 (talk) 19:11, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request for page title change[edit]

In October of 2018, the Alliance underwent a brand refresh in which several aspects of our organization were updated, including our name which changed from the "Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves" to "The Clean Cooking Alliance." You can find proof of this change by visiting our website <[1]> where you will see the new name advertised heavily in all external-facing language.
