Proposed deletion[edit]

Am challenging the above. The subject of the article is a highly notable session musician who appears on several notable recordings. The fact that there is very little published information on him available does not justify deletion. While I realise that this in itself is not an argument, surely the spirit of Wikipedia's notability guideline is to prevent every Tom, Dick and Harry setting up their own articles. I'd rather not have to take this to AfD because Wikipedians can better spend their time copy-editing, deleting vandalism, and a long etc. Regards, --Technopat (talk) 17:44, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To whoever is maintainig this article-How about a section concerning Chuck Findley's work with the Carpenters. He is the fluglehorn solo on "Close to you."
