A fact from Christianization of the Rus' Khaganate appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 14 December 2006. The text of the entry was as follows:

Untitled[edit]

People from Western Ukraine called the people of Eastern Ukraine "Little-Rоs'ians". Rusiæ Minoris not Ros' Khanate. Rusiæ Minoris not Russia. There were three states: Rusiæ Minoris(Ruthenians), Ros' Khanate, later Russia. Merge discussion[edit]
Please see Talk:Christianization of Kievan Rus'#Merge proposed for a discussion about merging the articles Christianization of the Rus' Khaganate and Christianization of the Kievan Rus' into a single article title Christianization of the Rus'. — SMcCandlish ☺ ☏ ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ≼ 05:55, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
Article name[edit]
As far as I can see the secondary sources cited here (Obolensky and Zuckerman) do not refer to these events by this name so I would suggest to rename this article to something like Christianization of Rus' in 9th century. Obolensky writes about "la premiere conversion des Russes" on page 25 but he uses quotation marks and I'm not sure it's a sufficiently widespread name. Alaexis¿question? 13:43, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
BOLD merge[edit]
As already noted at Talk:Christianization_of_Kievan_Rusʹ#Merge_proposed, Christianization of the Rus' Khaganate is a WP:POVFORK that also violates WP:FRINGE by asserting the Rus' Khaganate really existed. Whatever is useful can be reinserted here. Therefore, I've WP:BOLDly merged the text to Christianization of Kievan Rusʹ. Cheers, Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 17:55, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
