POV, cleanup needed, original research[edit]

This article needs to cite its sources, as well as be cleaned up, and edited for point of view. By point of view, I'm referring to some of the grand words used to describe the artist, they're not appropriate for an encyclopedia entry.

Agreed. I'm working on this.--Mrupert@gmail.com 13:42, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe this link to Billboard can help with some source info: http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/retrieve_chart_history.do?model.vnuArtistId=147630&model.vnuAlbumId=322140

Perhaps you should learn to wait just a bit until one has finished editing themselves before you begin "patrolling." Jaileer 20:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's a valid point. The article has been cleaned up a bit. The way you put quotation marks around "patrolling" makes it seem to me like you think I made it up for the purpose of harrassing new editors and their articles. Read about the recent change patrol if you want to learn more. The article still needs to be edited for POV and it needs reliable third party sources to establish notability. I apologize if I gave you the impression that I was simply commenting to be mean. Leebo86 21:32, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
thanks for the apology - i apologize if i was a bit snippy. I will continue to update this article over the next few days, and i welcome editing and/or third party verification. Jaileer 21:39, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow. This article is almost embarrassingly "fan boy" sounding. I tried to clean up a little. Hey, I'm a big time fan of the guy, but Wikipedia articles don't need to read like promotional material.
