Notability[edit]

The show should be notable as WP:TVSHOW TryKid (talk) 09:07, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Topic is covered briefly at Balika_Vadhu#Chhoti_Anandi. I've requested deletion of the redirect to permit this to be moved. When this page is in mainspace the short section of the other page can be trimmed and linked to this page. Legacypac (talk) 19:01, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@TryKid: As per WP:NOINDICSCRIPT we no longer use Indic scripts in the lead sections or infoboxes. Thanks. Sid95Q (talk) 16:48, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Sid95Q:, that's for the NATIVE NAME of the show. How can be that parameter be used without Indic script? Remember Rule 0 of Wikipedia. If a rule prevents you from improving Wikipedia, then ignore that rule. Indic script is necessary here. TryKid (talk) 17:13, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@TryKid: WE don't use this parameter anymore in Indian Television series. Sid95Q (talk) 17:08, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sid95Q: Did we reach consensus somewhere some time before I joined? Because I don't see any rule like that anywhere? Native name is a necessary parameter for shows that don't use English titles, for example this show. Other shows like Gaju Bhai or Ishqbaaz use Roman script in the title so they can go without this parameter but for this show it's necessary.TryKid (talk) 17:13, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@TryKid: This rule is only for Indian articles. This rule was made to avoid disruptive behavior by users. For example if an "animated" series is made in 2 or 3 languages the users will start fighting for which language name would come first so to avoid these kind of clashes the community decided to not to add native name in every India related articles. Sid95Q (talk) 17:14, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@TryKid: Please don;t add things if a discussion is going on about it on talk page as it is considered as a disruptive behavior. It's always good to talk first even if you think you are right and other person is wrong. Thanks. Sid95Q (talk) 17:18, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sid95Q: Sorry about adding it. I thought we'll agree on it so decided to add it but it doesn't look like it... Sorry for that again. So, what I'm saying is, unlike the new show Little Singham, as far as I know, this show was created in Hindi only as shown by the title card, which is written in Hindi, so my point is, if the title card is in Hindi, we can agree that the show has Hindi as native language.TryKid (talk) 17:26, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@TryKid: Right now I will suggest you to not to add Native Name parameter and Indicscript in lead and infobox in this and any other article as not adding it will not change anything but if you will add it it could encourage disruptive behavior as user with less knowledge about rules will use it as an example in Indicscript related issues to prove their point. In some cases when we suggest user to follow MOS:TV and other guidelines they give us examples of other pages to justify their edits. Sid95Q (talk) 17:35, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sid95Q, Thank you. I won't add it for now. TryKid (talk) 17:46, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sid95Q:, can I add native name back? See what AussieLegend has to say here and this discussion

@TryKid: Discuss it with Cyphoidbomb. He is an admin and working on Indian TV articles from a very long time. Thanks. Sid95Q (talk) 18:51, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I tagged Him Naagin discussion so whatever will be his reply we will move according to that. Sid95Q (talk) 19:07, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
